Man seriously injured after falling from a construction site

An individual who was working in a construction site in Iskele was seriously injured after falling and hitting his head on a metal rail.

The incident happened at around 3:00 PM at a construction site in Iskele on Saturday December 14 when the individual, OMA, 45, a Nigeria who was working at the site hit his head on a scaffold iron set up for plastering as he was climbing the stairs which caused him to fall down the stairs and injure himself.

According to information provided by the police, OMA, who was injured in the incident, was treated at Near East Hospital in Yeniboğaziçi and is now under observation in the Neurology Department.

The investigation is ongoing.
