A 3.6 magnitude earthquake felt across Cyprus on Monday night
A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck off the southern coast of Cyprus late on Monday evening, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The tremor occurred at 11:23 pmlocal time on Monday off Limassol, with its epicentre located 21 kilometres southeast of Limassol, Cyprus’s second-largest city at a 5km depth.
The earthquake was felt across several areas of Limassol, according to local reports.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties were reported.
