Woman attacked and injured by stray dogs in Famagusta

A horrific incident occurred this morning in Mağusa, where stray dogs abandoned on the streets by irresponsible individuals attacked two people who had come to the area for breakfast.

The attack left one woman seriously injured. During the incident, the dogs caused the woman to fall to the ground, resulting in injuries.

The injured woman was first taken to Mağusa State Hospital and later transferred to Lefkoşa Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital. It has been reported that the woman sustained a broken leg.

Following the incident, the woman's friend, Önay Saygı, shared the event on social media, claiming that the dogs had been reported multiple times before but that authorities failed to take any preventative measures.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns about stray animals in the area and the need for effective action to address the issue.
