Six people to face legal action after stolen bicycles were recovered in Güzelyurt

Turkish Cypriot police on Wednesday said it has taken legal action against 6 people regarding bicycle thefts that occurred recently in the Güzelyurt region.

According to information provided by the police concerning the advanced investigation and operation carried out by the teams affiliated to the Güzelyurt Police Department into the "bicycle theft" issues that have recently occurred in the Güzelyurt region, a total of four bicycles, two of which were determined to have been stolen from residences and two bicycles for which no reasonable explanation could be given, were found in the possession of the suspects and taken as evidence.

While legal action was taken against six people as part of the operation, an investigation is ongoing regarding the other two bicycles whose owners have not yet been identified.
