Second consecutive day of seismic activity felt in south Cyprus
Residents in Paphos south Cyprus reported feeling a stronger and longer-lasting
earthquake on Sunday morning, marking the second consecutive day of
seismic activity in the region.
The tremor occurred at approximately
9:50 a.m., following a series of minor quakes in the Pissouri area of
Limassol District on Saturday.
While Saturday’s quake appeared more pronounced than those on Sunday, no damage or significant disruptions have been reported in Paphos.
However, the increased intensity and duration have raised concerns among locals about the evolving seismic conditions in the area.
