Man threatens and forcibly detained his ex-girlfriend in Kyrenia

A man who forced his ex-girlfriend into a car and took her to another location against her will after an argument in Kyrenia has been arrested.

According to the Police Press Bulletin, the incident occurred yesterday around 9:00 AM.

Following an argument, the suspect identified as H.K. (M-31) threatened his ex-girlfriend with violence and compelled her to get into his car against her will. 

H.K. then unlawfully detained her by preventing her from getting out of the car and forcibly taking her to another location.

During the subsequent investigation, the suspect was identified and arrested after the incident came to the attention of the police.

The police investigation is ongoing.
