Prince William shared that the past year has been “the hardest year in my life” due to his wife, Catherine, and his father, King Charles, both receiving cancer diagnoses.

In a heartfelt and sometimes emotional interview at the end of his visit to South Africa, he described recent months as “brutal.”

The prince expressed deep pride in how Catherine and his father have faced their health challenges with dignity and bravery, adding that the Princess of Wales is now “doing well.”
