Four injured in collision between a car and a truck in Haspolat

Four people were injured in a traffic accident that happened on the Haspolat-Tashkent main road on Wednesday night.

According to information from the Police Press Office, the accident occurred  at around 5:30 pm between three to four kilometres along the main road when a saloon car driven by 19-year-old Mehmet Salih Ay lost control due to driver inattention and skidded into the opposite lane. 

It then collided with a truck driven by 38-year-old Ahmet SA Bakr coming from the opposite direction.

The driver, Mehmet Salih Ay, along with passengers Sabri Baykuş, Efe Çahan Alemdar, and Süleyman Sarıca, were injured and are currently being treated at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosia.
