Four arrested for breaking and entry

Turkish Cypriot police arrested four men who stole jewelries and cash from several houses in Lefkoşa and Gönyeli.

Police in a statement said the suspects K.Ç. 55, N.Ç. 43, D.Ç. 36 and SB. 39 were arrested on Tuesday November 12 in an operation tagged (Operation One Thousand Faces).

The suspects were found to have stolen jewelleries and money by breaking into four houses in Lefkoşa and Gönyeli between 28 August and 12 November 2024 when they were arrested.

During questioning, it was determined that they stole various jewelleries and a total of 7500 TL and 2,300 GBP in cash. The investigation is ongoing.”
