24-year-old man seriously injured after falling from apartment balcony

A 24-year-old man who lives in Famagusta was injured on Friday night after falling from his apartment balcony.

According to information provided by the Police Press Office, the incident occurred on November 22, 2024, at around 10:30 PM when Uygar Altay, 24, lost his balance while hanging from the railing of his balcony and fell 4.65 meters onto a concrete surface.

Uygar Altay who was severely injured in the incident was initially taken to Gazimağusa State Hospital for treatment. Following medical intervention, he was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage and transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of Girne Dr. Suat Günsel Hospital for observation.

The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
