Seven people arrested for staying in north Cyprus without residence permit

No less than seven individuals living in north Cyprus without a resident permit were arrested by Turkish Cypriot police on Thursday.

The individuals who are students in the country were identified and arrested during police checks carried out across the TRNC on Thursday October 17.

Police said they were found to be staying in the country without a residence permit were.

Legal action has been initiated against them with investigation into the arrested persons is ongoing.
