Police seize 2,500 ecstasy pills from man at Kyrenia port

A total of 2,500 ecstasy pills were seized and one person arrested in an operation carried out at the Kyrenia Tourism Port on Friday.

The raid was carried out at the Kyrenia port on Friday as part of the "Gemini Operation" by Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling Directorate Teams.

Police said a total of 2,500 ecstasy pills believed to contain MDMA type drugs were seized during the search conducted on one Z.E, 47 who had just arrived the TRNC from Turkey.

The suspect was arrested in connection with the incident.

The police investigation into the incident continues.
