Mild earthquake recorded off the coast of Karpaz

An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter Scale was recorded in Karpaz, northern part of Cyprus on Monday.

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) data, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 occurred off the coast of Karpaz in the Mediterranean at around 6:40 pm Cyprus time.

The depth of the earthquake was announced as 7 kilometers.

According to reporter, the tremor was not felt elsewhere in Cyprus.
