Individual who stole an ATM card in Famagusta spends over 2 million TL from the card

An individual who stole items including an ATM card left on s seat in an entertainment venue in Famagusta reportedly spent over 2 million TL from the card.

The incident happened on Sunday October 20 at an entertainment venue operating in Famagusta Glapsides.

Police said the suspect named only as E.S, 20 who was a customer at the entertainment venue stole a phone, handbag, sweatshirt, headphones, ID and ATM cards and a door key that were left on a seat by another customer.

The suspect then fraudulently purchased products using the ATM car by spending a total of 2,651.99 TL.

He was arrested after the incident came to the attention of the police.
