Cyprus braces for temperature drop amid dry spell
Cyprus is set to experience a significant temperature drop from
today, with forecasts indicating a decrease of up to 4 degrees
Celsius, accompanied by strong northerly winds.
According to Greek Cypriot meteorologist, despite the autumnal change, no weather system capable of bringing rain is expected before the end of October. “Unfortunately, the dry conditions persist”, the meteorologist emphasised.
On Friday, temperatures are set to fall to around 27 degrees Celsius in inland areas and along the coast, while mountain regions will see temperatures of about 19 degrees Celsius.
For Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, clear skies are expected, interspersed with periods of increased cloud cover.
The temperature is not anticipated to change significantly over the weekend, remaining below average climatological values for this time of year.
