Galatasaray and Napoli agree on Osimhen loan deal

Napoli have given the green light for Victor Osimhen’s loan move to Galatasaray until the end of season after reaching an agreement on Monday.

Osimhen was subject of intense interest from Chelsea on transfer Deadline Day last Friday, and has been frozen out in Naples under Antonio Conte after the manager signed Romelu Lukaku as his replacement.

Turkish clubs have until their own deadline day on September 13 to complete their summer business.

According to journalistst Fabrizio Romano, the Turkish club will cover the Nigerian striker’s salary as part of the deal.

However, Osimhen’s transfer is currently complicated by interest from other clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, who are reportedly leading the race for his signature.

Despite this, a delegation from Galatasaray is set to meet with Osimhen in Napoli in the coming hours to finalize the loan move, pending a final decision from the player.

Napoli have already agreed to terms with Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku as a potential replacement for Osimhen.
