Driver who performed dangerous stunt in the middle of a road in Kyrenia arrested

A driver who was recorded performing a dangerous stunt with his vehicle in the middle of a road in Kyrenia on Sunday has been arrested by the police.

The stunt performed by a driver that happened on Sunday afternoon in a street in Kyrenia generated a lot of reaction on social media.

In a video shared on social media, a car could be seen sliding uncontrollably in the middle of the road.

Police in a statement on Tuesday said the police are using every means to ensure traffic safety by identifying drivers who are dangerous.

The Police Press Office announced that after images of a driver of a vehicle in Girne, who was driving dangerously by skidding and turning his vehicle around in a way that would endanger human life, were shared on social media, the driver of the vehicle was identified by police teams and arrested.

The driver of the vehicle, who was identified and arrested by the Traffic Teams of the Kyrenia Police Department. Legal action was taken against him for dangerous driving and his vehicle was banned from traffic. The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
