Man beaten and injured by two men he told not to urinate in public

Two men assaulted and injured a man in north Cyprus for warning them against urinating in a public place.

The incident happened at around 10:00am on Tuesday in front of an apartment building in Boğazköy.

Police in a statement said a man named only as Y.T, 53 was assaulted by two men named only as S.B and M.B because he warned them not to urinate in a public place where they could be seen.

The man who was injured due to the assault was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police said the suspect, M.B  beat YT with a wooden stick and an aluminum crutch that they had in their possession. 

The suspects SB and MB were arrested.
