More than 200 people deported from Cyprus last week

Hundreds of people have been repatriated from Cyprus (south) after they were found to be living illegally in the country.

According to a police announcement at the weekend, 201 people were deported in the last week from Cyprus.

Police said that 139 were sent back voluntarily, while 62 were deported.

The authorities added that they are continuing work to increase the number of repatriations.
