More than 15 kgs of cannabis found at Larnaca Airport

A 30-year-old man was arrested in Cyprus on Saturday after over 15 kg of cannabis found in his suitcase upon his arrival at Larnaca airport.

The Cyprus Anti-Narcotics Agency and the Customs Department said it confiscated a total of 15.6 kilogrammes of cannabis found in the luggage of a 30 year old man who arrived at Larnaca airport on Saturday July 6.

He was arrested and remanded in custody for eight days by the district court in Larnaca charged with possession with intent to sell, while possible associates and suppliers are being sought both locally and abroad.
