Man arrested for breaking car window after driver ran over his dog in Kyrenia

A 29-year-old man was arrested on Sunday in Kyrenia following an incident that resulted in the death of his dog and damage to a car.

The man named only as OT, 29 was walking his dog without a leash on Kalpaklı Street in Karaoğlanoğlu  village on Sunday evening when a car struck his dog.

The dog died from the collision.

OT reportedly reacted angrily towards the driver and broke the car’s rear window.

He was arrested and taken into custody and an investigation is underway.
