Driver fined for carrying passengers in the back of a van

A driver was fined by the TRNC authorities for carrying passengers in the back of a van in a way that endangers their life.

The fine of 5,088 TL and 10 penalty points were imposed on the driver of the vehicle for carrying passengers in a way that endangered human life in a place other than the vehicle's seats.

According to police statement, after images of passengers being transported in a vehicle on the Esentepe - Tatlısu main road in a manner that would endanger human life were shared on social media, the Kyrenia Police Department teams took action and identified the driver in question.
