Cyprus police name 63 year old former officer wanted in connection to the Metamax fraud

A former Greek Cypriot police officer who is still at large and wanted in connection with the Metamax pyramid fraud in Cyprus have made declared wanted by the authorities with his details made public.

The authorities in a written statement said;

‘Authorities are seeking information that will lead to locating Petros Georgiades, 63 from Limassol in connection with offences related to conspiracy to commit a felony, a plan to promote a pyramid scheme and income from illegal activities, committed between October 2023 and June 2024 in the districts of Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta’.

Anyone with information that might facilitate his arrest is requested to contact the Limassol CID at 25-805057, the nearest police station or the Citizen’s Hotline at 1460.
