23-year-old man drowns in sea off Famagusta
The incident happened at around 3:00pm on Wednesday July 10 when the deceased identified as 23-year old Mustapha Uba Muhammad, a resident of Famagusta went into the sea.
He was found motionless in the sea and taken to the shore.
Despite all interventions by the medical teams, he could not be saved.
The cause of Muhammad's death will be determined after an autopsy.
The investigation continues.
