Yellow weather warning issued for Monday’s expected heat

The Cyprus met office has issued a yellow weather warning for Monday, as the temperature is expected to rise to 40 degrees C.

In an announcement, the met office said that the warning would be in effect from 12.30pm until 3.30pm on Monday.

Temperature will rise to 40 C inland, around 35 on southern and eastern coasts, 33 C in western and northern coastal areas, and 31 C in the mountains.
