There will be no water in the whole of north Cyprus on Tuesday due to malfunction at Geçitköy Pump Station

Water will not be supplied to the whole of TRNC tomorrow (Tuesday June 4) due to the malfunction at Geçitköy Pump Station.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, it was stated that there will be a water outage starting from 8.00am on Tuesday June 4 due to the malfunction at Geçitköy Pump Station within the scope of the 'Water Supply Project'.

The state also adds that water will not be provided to the whole of TRNC during the repair works that will start tomorrow.

"Water will be provided from our local drinking water resources until the fault is completed. In this process, it is of great importance that our people use water consciously and economically. Necessary information will be provided to our people and municipalities through the press during the process," the statements reads.
