Racist Turkish Cypriot says Pakistani nationals and black people are not allowed in beach

A Turkish Cypriot man received series of backlash on Tuesday after making a racist post on social media stating that Pakistani nationals and black people are not allowed to enter a particular beach in north Cyprus.

Hasan Gocco, who works as a lifeguard at Glapsides beach, made the racist post on social media on Tuesday.

Stating his own rules in the post, Gocco said: "Pakistani nationals cannot enter the beach" and "Black people are prohibited from entering".

The statement drew wide spread reactions from users.

No official statement has been made yet from the authorities regarding the issue.
