Malfunction in water distribution resolved: Water supply resumed

The TRNC Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has announced that water supply to homes resumed to the regions from Geçitköy pumping station on Wednesday night.

The Ministry in a statement last night said, it was noted that the work to eliminate the technical malfunction in the promotion line at the exit of Geçitköy pumping station, which provides transmission from Geçitköy Dam to Çamlıbel Treatment Plant, has been completed.

It was noted that Geçitköy pumping station pumps were turned on and water started to be pumped for the aqueous test trials. 

"The empty pipeline is being filled, and if nothing goes wrong, the work to return the entire system to normal will continue throughout the night and water will be delivered to the drinking water tanks" it was said.
