Israel: The biggest mobilisation since the outbreak of the war with Hamas

Tens of thousands of people marched last night in Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities to demand once again that the government conclude a deal to release the hostages that Hamas has continued to hold in the Gaza Strip since October 7.

Participants in the mobilization demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu end the war in the besieged and devastated Palestinian enclave so that a deal can be struck to exchange hostages with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, Haaretz noted in its digital edition.

According to the Forum of Families of Hostages and Disappeared Persons, yesterday’s demonstration was the largest since the armed conflict began.
