Barbers in north Cyprus ditch the Turkish Lira, switch to Euros

The new price list which was announced on Thursday June 6 has been making the rounds on social media.
Barbers Association President Ecevit Sadeli, in his post on social said shared the new price list with the caption: "To remedy the economic crisis and keep up with the modern age..."
Ecevit Sadeli in a chat with Yeniduzen said, "rents prices are in British Pounds, cosmetic products are in Euros, we earn in Turkish Lira... We are tired of changing prices every three months adding that they will not have to make new price updates after indexing the prices to Euro.
He said the new price list will be effective from Friday June 7.
According to the list signed by the Union president, haircuts will now be 7 Euros in villages and 10 Euros in the city.
