They were taken to the Lefkosia district court on Wednesday.

Police told the court that they received information between 13-14 May 2024 that the suspect had drugs at his residence and was selling them. The police went to the suspect's residence in Hamitköy on May 14, knocked on the door but they did not open the door.

The police stated that the suspect jumped from the first floor balcony and ran away, and during the search at the house, approximately 26 grams of narcotic, believed to be a type of jute, and 500 US dollars, believed to be money obtained from drug sales, were found and taken as evidence.

Police said that the escaped suspect was detected on the attic of an apartment building in Hamitköy the same day and that approximately one gram of drugs was found in his pocket.

Police stated that they determined that the suspect bought 35 grams of the drug from a wanted person for 200 pounds on May 13 and sold 7 grams of it to two people for 500 dollars. Police said that nothing illegal was found during the search at suspect JR's house in Gönyeli.

The police requested that the suspects be detained for 2 days so that the investigation could be carried out safely.

Speaking after the police, JR said that she was MF's girlfriend and that she had no connection with the crime.

The judge who evaluated the testimony in court, ordered the suspects to be detained for 2 days.
