Man found growing weed in a forest area in north Cyprus

A 36-year-old man who was found to be growing weed in a froest area in Bafra, north Cyprus was arrested and detained by the police.

The individual, Ö.Y., 36 who resides in Bafra was arrested by police in Iskele on Wednesday, May 8 after he was found to be growing jute in the Bafra forest area.

Police said he was spotted while he was taking care of the plant believed to be a four-root type of cannabis.
