Government of Northern Cyprus declares 7 Chinese nationals banned immigrants
The government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has declared 7 people from the People's Republic of China as "banned immigrants".
The decision which was announced on Wednesday May 15 stated that the individuals in question "are likely to arouse hostility among the public and against the State or to intrigue against the authority and power of the State."
The statement reads as follows;
“The Council of Ministers, in the light of the reasons stated in the motion and the security report of the General Directorate of Police submitted attached to the motion, decided that 7 persons of nationality of the People's Republic of China, whose names and dates of birth are stated below, shall be subject to paragraph (1) of Article 6 of Chapter 105 Foreigners and Immigration Law ( Pursuant to subparagraph g), since they are likely to act in a way that endangers public order, administrative order or general morality, or to arouse hostility among the people of the TRNC and against the State, or to intrigue against the authority and power of the State, all the findings and facts are evaluated and the said persons are declared as Prohibited Immigrants. decided.”
