TRNC government announces late scholarship application until April 17

The TRNC Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education and Foreign Relations has announced that 2023-2024 Academic Year Spring Semester Late Scholarship applications can still be made online between April 16-17.

In a statement by the Department Director Behçet Çelebi, he said: "In accordance with Article 6 of the Scholarship Regulation, 2023-2024 Academic Year Spring Semester Late Scholarship Applications can be made online at http://yobis.mebnet.net between 16.04.2024 and 17.04.2024." 

It was stated that students who are studying in higher education and want to apply for a scholarship for the 2023-2024 Spring Semester can apply for scholarships by completing the necessary procedures at the above mentioned website.

It has been reported that students who study at TRNC universities and are entitled to a scholarship in the 2023-2024 Fall Semester must complete their scholarship applications by updating their academic information at http://yobis.mebnet.net and uploading their transcripts and student documents for the Spring Semester to the system.

It was noted that students studying in the Republic of Turkey and third countries and who received scholarships in the 2023-2024 Fall Semester do not need to take any action to continue their scholarships.
