North Cyprus government declared 3 Nigerians and a Turk banned immigrant
The TRNC Council of Ministers has declared a total of 4 people as prohibited immigrants, 3 of whom are from Lagos, Nigeria including gang members and a Turkish citizen for belong to a terrorist group.
The decision was published in the Official Gazette on Friday.
“The Council of Ministers, in the light of the reasons stated in the motion and the security report of the General Directorate of Police attached to the motion, finds that one TAO, a Nigerian born in 1997 in Lagos, and UAI born on in 2001, are members of the fraud gang codenamed "Yahooboys". The government decided to declare them as Prohibited Immigrants in accordance with subparagraph (g) of paragraph (1) of Article 6 of Chapter 105 Aliens and Immigration Law.
One AB, a Turkish citizen born in Pazarcık on in 1995, was convicted by the Ankara 10th Criminal Court of Peace of the Republic of Turkey for "Membership of an Armed Terrorist Organization (PKK/KCK/YPG/YDG). -H)", it was decided that he be declared a Prohibited Immigrant, in accordance with subparagraph (g) of paragraph (1) of Article 6 of the Law on Foreigners and Immigration, Chapter 105.
The Council of Ministers also decided to declare one OLW, a Nigerian born in Lagos on in 1992, as a Prohibited Immigrant in accordance with subparagraph (g) of paragraph (1) of Article 6 of Chapter 105 Aliens and Immigration Law. ”
