Former boxer punch friend to death in Istanbul, left him in the cemetery and ran away

A former Turkish boxer Engin Karanlik reportedly beat and killed his friend İkrami Güler who he claimed was molesting the woman he lived with, and then left Güler's body in the cemetery and ran away in an incident that happened in Pendik, Istanbul.

The incident took place on Thursday, April 11, at around 2:00am in the Doğu Mahallesi when Engin beat his former boxer friend to death in Istanbul and left his body in the cemetery.

He was arrested regarding the incident and taken into custody along with one Seda Uzan, with whom he lived together.

According to report, it was alleged that Engin came home to drink alcohol with Selda Uzan and İkrami Güler, with whom he lived.

After sitting at home for a while, Engin went to the bathroom.

Engin, who claimed that he heard Güler molesting Selda Uzan while he was in the bathroom, invited Güler to the door to talk.

After the argument between the two, Engin attacked İkrami Güler with a punch.

Güler collapsed to the ground as a result of the blows he received.

After a while, Engin carried Güler, who was lying motionless on the ground, to the cemetery near their house with Uzan and ran away.

Neighbors who saw the person lying motionless in the cemetery in the morning reported the incident to the police.

Medical teams who came to the cemetery determined that İkrami Güler had died.

Thanks to the work of the police teams, the suspect Engin was caught at his home.

He was detained together with Selda Uzun.
