5.6 magnitude earthquake in Tokat, Turkiye

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred in Sulusaray district of Tokat, Turkiye on Thursday.

According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) Presidency, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 18.11, the epicenter of which was the Sulusaray district.

It was determined that the earthquake was at a depth of 5.99 kilometers.

The earthquake was also felt in surrounding provinces.

AFAD stated that they are following the developments regarding the earthquake.
