TRNC increases birth and death registration fees
The government of northern Cyprus has increased the fee for the Registration of Births and Deaths.
The fees regulated by the Regulation on Fees and Fees for the Registration of Births and Deaths were increased in line with annual inflation.
The new figures that came into force with the regulation published in the Official Gazette are as follows:
“Upon written application, the Civil Registry Registrar shall register the birth: (a) at the place of residence of the petitioner; or (b) If the birth is registered in a home that is not a public institution, the person authorized to notify the Civil Registry: 100 TL
Birth registration between three months and twelve months after birth: 100 TL
Registration of birth twelve months after birth: 200 TL.
Birth registration certificate: 10 TL
Registration of name change: 200 TL
Re-registration of birth of persons whose ancestry has been corrected: 100 TL
Upon written application, the Civil Registry Registrar shall determine the death (a) at the place of residence of the petitioner; or
(b) If the death is recorded in a house that is not a public institution: : 100 TL
Registration of death after twelve months: 200 TL
Correction of errors in the registers and correction of the registers in case of gender change: 100 TL
