Man steals from aid box in a North Cyprus Mosque

Man reportedly broke into a Mosque in Yeniboğaziçi, north Cyprus and stole 600 TL from the aid money box.

The incident happened on March 20 and 24 when the suspect, 23-year-old MM, reportedly broke the entrance door of the Yeniboğaziçi Mosque, stole the keys to the mosque and stole 600 TL in cash kept in the aid money box.

Police said he deliberately broke and damaged the entrance door of the Mosque.

The suspect was identified and arrested when the incident came to the notice of the police.

The investigation continues.
