Thieves assaults and tied home owners in north Cyprus

Two men reportedly entered a house under construction in Karşıyaka, north Cyprus where they severely beat and tied the three people staying in the house and stole from them.

The suspects YR, 30 and EK, 30 reportedly went to a house under construction in Karşıyaka yesterday and entered the house forcefully.

They went to the bedroom and living room of the house where they met one CG, 56, GH, 41 and MAR, 29 who were staying in the house.

They beat them and tied them up.

The suspect stole 3 mobile phones, 9,900 TL, 20 Stg, and 400 USD in cash, clothes and travel documents belonging to the residents of the house. 

They also deliberately threw a mobile phone to the ground and broke it.

The suspects were identified and arrested after the incident came to the notice of the police.
