Police finds 4 kilos of drugs in Kyrenia apartment: 1 person arrested
One person was arrested by Turkish Cypriot police during an operation carried out in a house located in Kyrenia on Tuesday.
Police in a statement said the suspect named only as OP, 26 was caught with 4 kilos of drugs during the operation tagged 'Artificial Intelligence' carried out by teams of the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate in Kyrenia on Tuesday Feb. 6.
Police said a total of 1 kilo 300 grams of mephedrone type drug, 212 grams of jute type drug, 10 grams of cocaine type drug, Amphetamine type drug weighing 10 grams, a substance believed to be MDMA (ecstasy) type drug drug weighing 3 grams, a total of 20 packages of chocolate, candy and paste weighing 2 kilos 5 grams believed to contain drug substance, 500 ml oil believed to contain drug substance, mushroom weighing 500 grams, a substance weighing 20 grams, a total of 88 stamps, one sensitive scale and one metal grinder, believed to contain liquid and LSD type drugs, were detected and taken as evidence.
Police said investigation continues.
