North Cyprus government increases marriage fees

Marriage fees in north Cyprus have been changed. 

Couples who get married at the Marriage Registry Office will pay 1,455 TL, and those who marry outside the Marriage Registry Office will pay 2,955 TL.

Couples will pay 1,455 TL if the marriage is held at the Marriage Registry Office, and 2,955 TL if it is done anywhere other than the Marriage Registry Office.

The Turkish Communal Assembly Marriage Related Images (Amendment) Order made by the Council of Ministers came into force after being published in Tuesday's Official Gazette.

Accordingly, the fee is 1,455 TL if the marriage is held at the Marriage Registry Office, and 2,955 TL if it is done anywhere other than the Marriage Registry Office.

Moreover; Certification of the marriage notification is 148 TL, giving an objection notification is 143 TL, giving a certificate for the purpose of postponing the notification is 148 TL, obtaining the marriage certificate or any copy of it is 148 TL, and the fee for registering the marriage in the registry is 583 TL.
