North Cyprus government declares 8 Turkish nationals as banned immigrants

The North Cyprus Council of Ministers has declared 8 Turkish nationals involved in serious crimes as 'banned immigrants'.

According to report, the 8 people of Turkish nationality who were involved in various and serious crimes were declared as 'banned immigrants'.

The Council of Ministers in a statement published on the Official Gazette on Friday last week said:

“The Council of Ministers, in the light of the reasons stated in the motion and the security report of the General Directorate of Police submitted attached to the motion, has decided that the Turkish national whose names are mentioned below shall be detained in accordance with subparagraph (g) of the 6th article (1) of the Law on Foreigners and Immigration, Chapter 105, as amended, Since they are likely to act in a way that endangers public order, administrative order or general morality, or to arouse hostility among the people of TRNC and against the State, or to plot against the authority and power of the State, the persons whose names, surnames and dates of birth are stated below will be evaluated as Prohibited Immigrants, considering all the findings and facts. He decided that they should be declared.”

The 8 names, including those who are members of an armed terrorist organization, engage in drug dealing and sexually abuse children, are as follows:
