Four men kidnapped man and dress her in women's clothing in Famagusta, north Cyprus
Four people were arrested by Turkish Cypriot police on Wednesday for kidnapping, and the dressing of their victim in women's clothing's in Famagusta, north Cyprus.
The incident happened at around 12:00am on Feb., 17 in Famagusta when the suspects İ.HA, 22, HA, 25, BD, 21 and OY, 30 kidnapped and beat one TY.
Police said the victim reported the to the police following the incident.
They were arrested for threatening a person they kidnapped, beating him, dressing him in women's clothing, taking a video of him, and asking for money to delete the video.
Police said they violated T.Y.'s right to privacy by dressing him in women's clothing and taking a video of him. They demanded 20,000 TL in return for deleting the video and threatened to harm him if he did not pay.
The suspects then dropped the subject off somewhere else.
After the incident came to the notice of the police, the persons in question were identified and arrested in the further investigation carried out.
