Eight people arrested in north Cyprus for staying without residence permit

At least no less than eight people were identified and arrested by Turkish Cypriot authorities on Tuesday night for living in north Cyprus without a resident permit.

Police in a statement on Wednesday said 8 people who were found to be staying in the country without a residence permit were arrested as a result of inspections and controls carried out across the country on Tuesday, Feb., 27.

Legal proceedings were initiated against all of them.
