Cost of living in north Cyprus for January was announced as 3.84 percent
The north Cyprus Statistics Institute has announced the inflation data for January.
According to its announcement, inflation for the month of January increased by 3.84 percent and by 85.81 percent on an annual basis.
The Statistics Institute announced the cost of living rate for January as 3.84 percent.
There was a change of 3.84 percent compared to the previous month in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Statistics Institute’s Consumer Prices General Index and an 85.81 percent increase compared to the same month of the previous year.
In terms of main expenditure groups, the highest increase compared to the previous month was realized in the Miscellaneous Goods and Services main group with 11.42 percent.
Compared to the previous month, the average prices of 580 items included in the index increased and the average prices of 63 items decreased.
