Snake trapped in a tin can rescued by Tashkent Nature Park in north Cyprus
The Tashkent Nature Park in north Cyprus on Wednesday stated it rescued a young Black Snake trapped in a tin can thrown to the ground in Lefkosia.
Tashkent Nature Park noted that the snake was rescued with only minor injuries adding that, "It looks like it will be ready to return to nature after a quick recovery process."
The full statement from Tashkent Nature Park is as follows:
"This young Black Snake (Dolichophis jugularis), which was trapped in a tin can thrown on the ground in Nicosia, had a misfortune while chasing a mouse. Luckily, this black snake, which survived with only minor injuries and was in good general condition, was released back into the wild after a rapid recovery period." Looks like he'll be ready to return.
The fact that wild animals do not find themselves in such difficult situations is closely related to our relationship with our environment. Let's not forget that taking responsibility for our garbage and not leaving it in nature saves many lives!”
