Body of man declared missing in Dec., 2023 found in forest land in North Cyprus

A 34-year-old Ukrainian man who was declared missing by Turkish Cypriot police in Dec., 2023 has been found dead in a forest land in North Cyprus.

Sergi Bekh, 34, male, a resident of Karaağaç was last heard of since November 24, 2023. Police said Sergıı Bekh, left his home on November 24 with his Nissan vehicle with plate number BH 1370 OE and has not returned home.

His body was found in the forestland between Kaplıca and Büyükkonuk on Wednesday, Jan., 3, 2024.

Police in a statement said investigation into the death continues.
