Another decomposed body found on north Cyprus beach

Another decomposed body of a woman was found on the sea side in Dipkarpaz on Friday, the third of such in January, 2024.

According to statement released by the police on the matter, it was stated that the decomposed body found on the beachside in Dipkarpaz Şelonez Area around 1.00pm today (January, 19, 2024) has not been identified yet.

While investigation into the incident is on going, it is noteworthy that bodies have frequently been seen washing up on the beach lately. 

Since the the beginning of 2024, the number of bodies washed ashore has thus increased to 3. 

***At the moment, the identities of the those found have not been revealed. The authorities should as a matter of urgency place guards on these beaches.
