Student detained for manipulating north Cyprus health report for permit processing

A student who manipulated a north Cyprus Ministry of Health report to obtain a resident permit will face trial in court following his arrest.

In November, 2023, the suspect, named only as Z.K, 23, a resident of Gönyeli, was found to have forged and changed the dates of the expired Health Board Report previously given to him by the Turkish Ministry of Health in order to obtain a residence permit and then put it into use by sending it to the immigration residence permit website via his mobile phone. 

He was arrested and legal action taken against him and the investigation is continuing.
